Faculty Papers: Charles Lee Raper
Charles Raper (1870-1957) was the Dean of the Business School, Professor of Transportation, and Vice Chancellor at Syracuse University from 1920-1943. During his career he was actively involved in many organizations in the Syracuse area, including the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, New York State Planning Council, War Transportation Committee for Syracuse and Onondaga County, New York State Commission Against Discrimination in Employment, and he was actively opposed to the St. Lawrence Seaway and Power Project.
These papers cover the years of 1864-1957 and consist of 15 boxes totaling 22.5 linear feet. The finding aid was prepared by Lisa C. Hernick.
