Notes:

This unit of Mount Olympus was financed through a loan of $3,374,000 from the U.S. Housing and Home Finance Agency. The agreement for the original loan of $2,944,900 was signed in July 1956. An amendatory loan agreement, providing the University with an additional $430,000 was signed in April 1957 because the estimated cost of the project had increased.

The eight story dormitory was named in honor of Dr. James Roscoe Day, who was Chancellor of the University from 1894 to 1922, while the dinning hall was in honor of Dr. William Pratt Graham, Chancellor from 1937 to 1942.

Day Hall, an eight story dormitory, presently houses 475 students. When it was first opened there was a wing of guest rooms on the first floor, each with a private bath; these have since been converted to student quarters in order to meet the housing needs of an enlarged enrollment. The first floor contains a reception room, the main lounge and recreation room, a director's suite and a rending area with a snack bar. Maintenance rooms, laundry facilities and a hobby room are located in the basement.

In the fall of 1989 construction started on a 112 bed addition to Day Hall. The work was completed by fall 1990. The new wing was designed by Bohlin, Powell, Larkin and Cywinski of Wilkes Barre, PA.

Graham Hall is a two story building with a snack bar, restaurant lounge and bookstore on the first floor and a dining hall with a seating capacity of 550 on the second floor.
