Present:  Ed Becker, Ed Galvin, Dave Langevin, Eileen Keating, Jackie Lewis, Dianne Hagan

Call to Order – President Dave Langevin called the meeting to order.

November Meeting – Plans for the November 12th meeting were discussed.

• Dianne will follow up with Rick Head from ARMA Headquarters.  She will also inquire as to whether HQ has an article relating to competencies that we can use in the newsletter.
• Dave will arrange a location for the meeting.
• Ed Becker will be the editor for the newsletter.  Information for the newsletter is due to Ed by October 1st.
• WE NEED A SPONSOR FOR THIS MEETING.

Speaker Grant Application – Dave will submit the speaker grant application, which is due to HQ by OCTOBER 1ST.

September Meeting:

• Ed Galvin reported that the cost of the 9/12 meeting was $172.  $110 in revenue from the meeting was received (plus the sponsorship fee).  Two people that registered did not attend and did not pay.  There were 14 attendees. 
• It was decided that a list of chapter members will be generated prior to the next meeting.  Board members will split the list and call chapter members to personally invite them to the meeting if they don’t pre-register by a set date.
• Jackie will modify the meeting evaluation form to inquire as to how attendees hear about our meetings.

Brochure - Dave will finalize the updates to the brochure and it will be sent in a mass mailing to a list of CEO’s that Dave has.

Meeting Minutes – On a motion by Eileen Keating, seconded by Ed Galvin, and carried by unanimous vote, the minutes from the previous meeting were accepted as submitted.

Financial Statements – Ed Galvin had previously e-mailed Board Members the Treasurer’s Report, showing a balance of $6,173.71.  He noted a sponsorship fee of $300 from Iron Mountain is still outstanding, as well as the $1,500 annual advertising fee from Iron Mountain.  Dave will follow up on both.

ARMA International Conference – On a motion by Dianne Hagan, seconded by Ed Becker, and carried by unanimous vote, CNY ARMA will reimburse the Herkimer Area Resource Center for the 2007 conference registration fee for Jackie Lewis.

Special Project – Jackie Lewis reported on an 8-year old girl in the Mohawk Valley who is undergoing treatment for cancer.  The group agreed to support her and her family in some way as our special project for this year.  Jackie will determine needs.
