Faculty Papers: William Berwald

William Berwald Syracuse University honored Professor Berwald with the degree of master of music in 1903 and then the degree of doctor of music in 1912. From 1922 to 1925 Berwald served as conductor of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra. Professor Berwald retired from Syracuse University in 1943 after serving 52 years on its faculty.

These papers cover the years 1901-1936 and consist of 14 boxes. The finding aid was prepared by Kyle C. Wilson.
