Faculty Papers: George Fisk Comfort

George Fisk Comfort George Fisk Comfort came to Syracuse in 1872, and became the chair of Modern languages, Literature, and Aesthetics. Comfort started the college of fine arts in 1896 and served as the school's dean and director until his death in 1910.

These papers cover the years 1776-1944 and consist of 21 boxes. The finding aid was prepared by Kyle C. Wilson.

Please note that the collection is housed off-site and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Archives Reading Room in Bird Library.
