Faculty Papers: George Fisk Comfort
George Fisk Comfort came to Syracuse in 1872, and became the chair of Modern languages, Literature, and Aesthetics. Comfort started the college of fine arts in 1896 and served as the school's dean and director until his death in 1910.
Researchers interested in the George Fisk Comfort Papers should mention the collection's Record Group [13] when contacting the Syracuse University Archives. Please note that the collection is housed off-site and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Archives Reading Room in Bird Library.
