Scope and Content Notes:
The Finla Goff Crawford Papers (1894 - 1973) document every aspect of his life and detail much of his personal life. The collection includes: subject files, correspondence, a certificate, annual reports, meeting minutes, photographs, manuscripts, published material, book reviews, speeches and a plaque.

The materials were moved from the original boxes and folders and re-housed in acid free folders and boxes. The folders were labeled in pencil with the exact name as marked on the original folder. Paper clips and rubber bands were removed.
Researchers interested in the Finla G. Crawford collection should mention the collection’s Accession Number 3006 when contacting the Syracuse University Archives. Please note that the collection is housed off-site and advance notice is required to allow time to have the materials brought to the Bird Library Reading Room on the 6th floor.
RESTRICTION: It is the policy of Syracuse University to restrict access to the papers of any Vice-Chancellor for 50 years. Researchers interested in viewing any restricted files should contact the University Archives to discuss how to obtain the necessary permission.
