Faculty Papers: Harley James McKee
Harley James McKee was born in 1905 in Kankakee, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.A. in Architecture in 1926. In 1929 he received his M.A. in Architecture. He also obtained a Certificate in Architecture from Beaux-Arts Institute of Design in New York in 1929. He taught at Syracuse University from 1946 to 1967. Harley McKee died in 1976 at age 71.
These papers contain the drawings done by McKee, students and other architects. Included are drawings by Ward Wellington Ward and Archimedes Russell. They are stored in 3 file drawers. The Archives also has the personal and professional papers of Harley McKee. These 84 boxes of papers and drawings are stored off-site. They will be added to this finding aid at a later date.
