CLAG: The Conference of Latin Americanist Geographers

versión en español

CLAG Logo The Conference of Latin Americanist Geographers began in 1970, as the first organization of specialists in the Association of American Geographers to be independently organized. It was created to further geographic education and research on Latin America. CLAG publishes a newsletter, Communication, and a journal, Journal of Latin American Geography, and convenes at international conferences.

Syracuse University Geography professor and CLAG Executive Director, David Robinson, brought the material to be housed in the Syracuse University Archives in August, 2007. The boxes were organized, catalogued, and entered into the Archives database, Versatile, by student employee and geography major Amanda Galvin.

The collection consists of 14 boxes of material, primarily from 1970 - 1990.
