Buildings   Tolley as the Greatest Builder
More buildings were erected during Tolley's administration than during any period in the University’s history, including hundreds of temporary classroom and dormitory facilities when he opened the University to returning GI's after WWII. This influx of returning veterans was the most important development at Syracuse University in the second half of its history.

Tolley's Academic Regalia
The University Archives houses his academic regalia including his orange hat.
