Pan Am Memorial This site is dedicated to the 270 men, women and children whose lives were lost in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland on December 21, 1988. Thirty-five students studying abroad with Syracuse University were killed in this terrorist attack.

Gary Leonard Colasanti

Gary Colasanti

Gary Colasanti was a junior advertising major at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. He was returning home from a semester abroad in London. Gary is remembered as popular, dependable, and humorous by his friends, family, and teachers. A talented athlete and artist, Gary lettered in soccer and tennis in high school, and was awarded a certificate of merit from the Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. The Gary Leonard Colasanti Papers, including the eulogy written by his father, has been donated by his parents.
