
This site is dedicated to the 270 men, women and children whose lives were lost in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland on December 21, 1988. Included in the collection are newspaper and magazine clippings, photographs, information on trials, government documents, books, audio and videotapes, posters, exhibit materials, and items specific to individual victims.

Wendy Solomon Morton '89 lost a dear friend, Sandy Phillips, in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103. After she visited the SU Archives she wrote and illustrated a children's book the history and traditions of SU. Proceeds from the book, Flipper and Dipper and the Treasures of 6 Bird go to the Pan Am Flight 103 Archives to help preserve the legacies of those friends and loved ones who were lost.
