Patrick Hicks is “writer-in-residence” at Augustana College and currently lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Hicks published multiple poetry chapter books including: Traveling Through History (2005), Draglines (2006), The Kiss That Saved My Life (2007), This London (2008), and a paperback collection entitled The Gossamer. He is a four time Pushcart Prize nominee and has won many grants to support his poetry. Hicks was also a Visiting Fellow at Oxford. He has just completed his first novel, which is about Auschwitz.
